Fund Manager Beckers: Flagship fund now available as an ETF

This time, Jan and Christoph discuss a July that tech investors would rather forget. The semiconductor index is down nearly 30 percent from its June high. For Jan, however, this is no reason to panic, but rather a healthy correction.
The crash was primarily driven by the structures surrounding the stocks: in South Korea, around a million retail investors faced margin calls, and even a prominent multi-billion dollar fund was caught off guard due to a lack of situational awareness. In this episode, Jan explains why he advises against leveraged products and why AI infrastructure remains a core component of his investment thesis despite the pullback.
There is also news from BIT Capital: as of August 4th, the flagship fund Global Technology Leaders is now available to trade as an ETF (WKN: A4231H). It is the firm's very first ETF. Jan explains the thinking behind it, why a lower fee rate doesn't automatically mean a cheaper product, and why an ETF doesn't always have to be passive.
